Most Wanted: Tacx T3025 Spider Professional Workstand

Not sexy, but very necessary

Yes, as the by-line says, definitely not sexy but an absolute essential piece of kit that, once you get one, you can never do without... and we ain’t got one.

We’re fumblers, messers, losers of bolts and dirtiers of walls - well, at least I am. But get one of these babies and hey presto! No more lost bolts, thanks to the handy little plate to out stuff like, er, screws on, and no more scuffed walls and floors and bending down to fix derailleurs.

The Tacx T3025 Spider Professional Workstand is the top of the line and priced to reflect that, but there are cheaper version available. We like this one though, because it looks the business.

It has a vertically adjustable stand and is lighweight, made from aluminum. At the same time, it is heavy-duty and ready for a bit of knocking about, which is inevitable for any stand.

It also fits almost all tube diameters, so is great for that classic Colnago or that freaky Cervelo.
