The Lintaman cycling shoe is a labor of love of creator Chris Lintaman, a shoe that was developed over a two year period before being released, a shoe produced by a rider for riders. Lintaman saw a market that had, in his opinion, one thing missing—a truly new shoe that optimized performance whilst excelling in comfort.
The shoe was ridden in this testing period by pro riders in UCI tours and national events, and is beginning to appear in the very highest echelons of the sport.
The development of the shoe is an ongoing process, evident in the exhaustive process of testing and prototype creation that Lintaman insists upon to create a shoe he is satisfied with.
The shoe pictured comes in at a lightweight 240g for the 41cm size, and a venter, 100% carbon fiber sole. Look and SPD compatible, the shoe featured utilizes three powerful velcro straps for a secure, comfortable and accurate fit.
There are 35 single vents on the upper and another 250 on the tongue to help keep those feet cool on even the hottest rides, and, we have to agree with the Lintaman website, another important feature is the “fresh and unique” design. Very stylish and already turning heads in Europe and around the world.
Lintaman shoes are rumored to have new models on the way very soon, watch this space for more news.
